Job summary

Pavement Preservation Group, Inc. is looking for a full-time Fleet Maintenance Parts Driver in Kansas City, MO. You will deliver and pick up parts, assist the shop and parts department, and occasionally drive a forklift to manage stock. Expect weekly pay, solid benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Requirements include a Class E license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and readiness to start at 7:00 a.m. with a flexible schedule as needed.

Qualifications

• Class E driver's license required within 30 days.
• Ability to pass drug tests.
• Must be able to start at 7:00 a.m. and multitask.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and perform multiple tasks.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift experience is helpful but not required.
• Auto parts delivery experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parts to shop, road crews, vendors and other locations.
• Picks up parts from vendors, road crews and others as needed.
• Loads and unloads parts and equipment from the truck.
• Ensure correct parts are received and delivered.
• Fuel and clean the vehicle as needed.
• Assist the Parts Department and Maintenance shop.
• Occasionally extend hours if needed.
• Drive a truck for up to 8 hours.
• In the shop, operate a forklift to assist offloading/loading and stock.

Overview

We are looking to fill our full time year-round Fleet Maintenance Parts Driver position. This is a fast-paced environment, and this person must be able to show excellent communication skills while being able to multitask.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver parts to shop, road crews, vendors, and other locations as needed.
• Picks up parts from vendors, road crews, and other locations as needed.
• Loads and unloads parts and equipment to and from truck.
• Ensures that we are receiving/delivering correct parts.
• Fuel and clean vehicle as needed.
• Assist the Parts Department and Maintenance shop as needed.
• Flexibility to occasionally extend hours.
• Ability to drive truck for 8 hours.
• While in the shop, this person will drive a forklift to help with offloading/loading deliveries and keep stock in the parts department.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Auto parts delivery a plus but not required
• Class E driver's license required within 30 days
• Ability to pass drug tests
• Arrive and be ready to start work at 7:00 a.m.
• Must be able to perform multiple tasks at a time and lift up 50 lbs.
