Platinum Paving and Concrete, LLC is seeking a Parts Runner to support daily operations by picking up, delivering, and organizing parts, materials, and supplies. You will help ensure technicians receive the correct parts promptly and maintain accurate records.

  • Previous warehouse, delivery, or parts experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Pick up and deliver parts, materials, and supplies between vendors, job sites, and company locations.
  • Verify that delivered and received parts match purchase orders and work orders.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and obtain required signatures when necessary.
  • Assist with receiving, stocking, labeling, and organizing inventory.
  • Keep the parts storage area clean, organized, and secure.
  • Return incorrect, damaged, or unused parts to vendors as directed.
  • Assist the Parts Department with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
  • Load and unload materials safely using proper lifting techniques.
  • Communicate delivery status and any delays to supervisors or technicians.
  • Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of company vehicles.
  • Follow all company safety policies and traffic laws.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

Work Environment

This position requires frequent travel between company locations, suppliers, and job sites. The work environment may include warehouses, shops, outdoor job sites, and vendor locations.

Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of automotive, heavy equipment, or construction parts.
  • Experience using inventory management systems.
  • Strong time management and route planning skills.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.
