Job summary

Ewald Automotive Group is seeking a driven and experienced Parts Director to lead our Parts Department across a multi-location dealership group. You will oversee daily operations, set pricing, and ensure we deliver exceptional service to internal service, body shop, wholesale, and retail customers.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a parts department or similar leadership role in an automotive setting.
• Strong focus on customer service and profitability.
• Familiar with parts sales processes and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, and lead the parts team to achieve department goals
• Maintain a balanced inventory to meet service, body shop, wholesale, and retail needs
• Set pricing strategies to ensure profitability and loyalty
• Monitor and adjust inventory to minimize obsolescence and maximize turnover
• Develop wholesale parts programs and promotions
• Ensure timely turnaround for internal jobs and special orders
• Analyze sales, expenses, and inventory monthly to maintain profit goals
• Oversee shipping, receiving, and accurate processing of orders
• Build strong relationships with customers and resolve concerns promptly

What You'll Do:

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience as a Parts Manager in a car dealership preferred
• Experience preferred
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in inventory management and parts sales processes
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Knowledge of manufacturer co-op advertising and return allowance programs is a plus
