Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles, deliver parts to professional customers, and handle COD collections and returns. You will ensure safety and efficiency while maintaining vehicle cleanliness and securing equipment and monies.

The role requires the ability to use fleet handheld devices, record mileage, process deliveries, and provide friendly customer service, with opportunities to assist as a cashier or with merchandising when needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the company's policy; legally required driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management handheld devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update mileage, and complete inspections.
• Keep vehicles clean and well-maintained; perform daily inspections.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and monies collected at all times.
• Pick up customer returns and fill out driver return slip.
• Communicate any problems or special needs to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance or damage to store manager immediately.
• Ensure fuel tank is filled and vehicle is secured at end of day.
• Clock in/out according to company policy; perform other duties as assigned.
• Assist customers as needed, work as cashier or with merchandising when business requires.
