Job summary

O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate company vehicles and deliver parts to professional customers. The role also collects COD payments and handles customer returns with proper documentation.

The position requires using fleet-management handheld devices, recording mileage and signatures, and performing daily vehicle inspections. It may include cashiering and merchandising tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet the standard set in the company's 14/18-point record system.
• Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Accept COD payments and collect monies accurately.
• Pick up customer returns and fill out driver return slip.
• Use fleet management handheld devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, and update mileage.
• Maintain clean, maintained vehicles and perform daily inspections.
• Keep keys, fuel cards, devices, and monies secure at all times.
• Assist with cashiering, merchandising, and general store duties as needed.
