Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. in Texas is seeking a delivery driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers while building strong relationships with MainStreet and National Pro accounts.

You will promote current sales and loyalty programs, upsell and cross-sell products to raise transaction value, and assist in maintaining store cleanliness and stock. A valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 100 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Experience in automotive parts is preferred.
• Able to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries.
• Upsell and cross-sell products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Operate inventory systems and store equipment.
• General duties as assigned.
