Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a delivery driver to pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers, while upselling and promoting current sales and loyalty programs.

You will build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, maintain store cleanliness, stock shelves, and assist walk-in customers with parts recommendations. A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Other duties as assigned.
