Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Delivery Driver to pick, stage and safely deliver automotive parts to pro customers, handle returns, and drop off weekly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.

You will build relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers, upsell and cross-sell products, maintain stock and cleanliness, and operate inventory systems and the delivery board, while prioritizing safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Speak and write English; Spanish a plus; communicate effectively with customers and teammates.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals.
• Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Ability to work an assortment of days, evenings and weekends as needed.
• Confidence in engaging customers and promoting products.
• Willing to learn about new products and sales techniques.
• Automotive parts experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and deliver parts to pro customers.
• Pick up returns and cores.
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs.
• Daily collection of credit accounts.
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot.
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
