Job summary

Talentify is seeking a parts delivery driver to pick, stage and safely deliver to pro customers, while also handling returns and promoting current sales and loyalty programs. You will engage with walk-in customers, upsell where appropriate, maintain inventory knowledge, and adhere to safety guidelines in a fast-paced environment.

This on-site role requires a valid driver's license and flexibility across days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Speak and write English; communicate effectively and build relationships with customers, peers and leadership.
• Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs and procedure manuals.
• Use basic math: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units; round as needed.
• Ability to work days, evenings and weekends as needed.
• Confident in engaging customers and promoting products.
• Willing to learn about new products and sales techniques.
• Automotive parts experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage and safely deliver parts to pro customers
• Pick up returns and cores
• Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyers while promoting current sales and loyalty programs
• Daily collection of credit accounts
• Build and maintain relationships with MainStreet and National Pro customers while providing the CPP with insights learned while making deliveries
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value
• Maintain store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting and parking lot
• General stocking including truck stocking, back stock and cycle counts
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand their needs and recommend appropriate parts or services
• Other duties as assigned
