Job summary

O Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles, deliver parts to professional customers, and collect money on COD deliveries. You will also pick up returns and ensure daily vehicle inspections.

The role requires safe driving, use of handheld devices, and the ability to maintain clean, secure fleet equipment. Multilingual abilities (Spanish) are highly desired, with opportunities to assist customers and support merchandising when business dictates.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet company standards.
• Must possess a legally required state driver's license.
• Desirable: Familiar with automotive parts.
• Ability to operate other light store equipment.
• Fluency in Spanish is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Deliver parts and products to customers in a safe, efficient manner.
• Use delivery devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage.
• Keep vehicles clean, maintained, and inspected before operation.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel cards, devices, and monies collected.
• Pick up customer returns and fill out return slips.
• Communicate problems or special needs to store management.
• Report maintenance needs or accidents to store manager immediately.
• Ensure fuel tank is full and vehicle secured at end of day.
• Clock in/out per policy.
• Assist with customer service, stocking, merchandising as needed.
• Other duties as assigned, including cashier duties when business dictates.
