Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles, deliver parts to professional customers, and collect payments on COD deliveries. The role includes using handheld devices, recording signatures, and performing daily vehicle inspections.

Responsibilities also cover keeping vehicles and equipment secure, handling customer returns, assisting with cashier duties, and supporting merchandising tasks as business dictates. Bilingual abilities (Spanish) are highly desired.

Qualifications

• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations.
• Driving record must meet company driving standards.
• Must possess a legally required state driver's license.
• Familiar with automotive parts (desired).
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently.
• Use delivery fleet devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and perform inspections.
• Keep vehicles clean and well-maintained; complete daily inspections.
• Secure money, keys, cards, devices, and monies collected at all times.
• Pick up customer returns and complete driver return slips.
• Communicate problems or special needs to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs or accidents to the store manager.
• Ensure fuel is topped and vehicles are locked at end of day.
• Clock in/out per company policy and perform other duties as assigned.
• May assist customers as a cashier or help with merchandising as needed.
