Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Delivery Specialist to operate store vehicles and deliver parts to professional customers, including COD collections and processing returns. You’ll keep vehicles clean, perform daily inspections, secure assets, and report issues to store management.

Use fleet handheld devices to process deliveries, capture signatures, update mileage, and manage fuel and keys. You may assist customers, cashier, and merchandising tasks when business dictates.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid state driver’s license and meet company driving eligibility requirements.
• Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences is required.
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Use delivery fleet management handheld devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections.
• Keep delivery vehicles clean, maintained, and perform daily inspections prior to operating.
• Secure vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, handheld devices, and monies collected at all times.
• Pick up customer returns and fill out driver return slips; communicate issues to store management.
• Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to store management immediately.
• Clock in/out according to company policy; assist customers as needed and perform merchandising/stocking duties.
• Other duties as assigned including cashiering and assisting with stock orders.
