Job summary

Fred Anderson Chevrolet is seeking an energetic individual to be the first point of contact for our Parts Delivery Team. You will deliver and pick up parts, assist guests, and support the parts department with timely deliveries. A valid driver’s license and professional, customer-focused approach are essential.

This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and maintaining CSI standards while representing the Anderson Automotive Group—family-owned with a long history of community involvement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up parts as ordered for the location or local body shops and dealerships.
• Load and unload deliveries when possible.
• Maintain safety and professionalism in interactions with customers and staff.
• Communicate delays or issues with parts delivery to the team.
• Support parts team to ensure accurate parts are delivered on time.

Position Summary:

Deliver and pick up parts that are ordered for this location or ordered by another local body shop, garage, dealership, etc. Responsible for loading and unloading deliveries when possible.

Goals and Expected Behaviors:

1. Increase/improve customer retention and loyalty for the entire dealership and company while achieving excellent customer service scores Greet guests, employees and visitors with a smile in a friendly manner Fulfill commitments Assist guests anytime and anywhere in the dealership Act, speak, dress and behave professionally at all times Anticipate the guests needs by listening and asking clarifying questions

2. Maintain efficiency of the shop Plan, organize and maintain efficient work flow Know product inventory

3. Effectively Communicate with Others Work as a team with parts manager, parts stocker, and parts delivery Ensure the right parts are picked up from other locations Correctly and efficiently load, unload, and deliver parts Deliver parts ordered by other shops, dealerships, etc Ensure the right parts are loaded onto the delivery truck Pick up parts from other shops, dealerships, etc Communicate any issues with parts delivery or pick up

4. Maintain CSI standards and contribute to overall shop CSI Dress and Act Professionally Maintain shop cleanliness

5. Maintain a safe shop and work in accordance to safety standards Drive in a safe manner obeying all traffic laws Lift and carry objects according to safety procedures Ask for assistance when lifting and/or carrying heavy objects Keep shop clean and free from slip, trip and other hazards

Essential Functions of the Position

Operate a phone, computer and other general office equipment Work with the public in a professional and guest centric manner Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a vehicle Communicate with guests, vendors, managers, and co-workers; Listen to guests and understand what they are saying Ability to read, understand and follow instructions Answer questions regarding vehicles, the dealership and service Know the features of the vehicles and be able to accurately and clearly communicate them to a guest base from a broad range of backgrounds

Skills, Education and Certification Requirements:

Physical Demands

Works in a variety of temperatures; periodically exposed to the weather including rain, snow, heat and cold Bends, stoops and goes from a standing position to a squatting position (and vice versa) several times throughout the work shift Pushes, pulls, lifts and carries objects up to 30 pounds frequently Pushes, pulls, lifts and carries objects up to 65 pounds occasionally Uses hands, wrists and arms in repairing vehicles with twisting, grasping and other motions Travels throughout the dealership and lots occasionally on foot and in some circumstances a Company provided golf cart Drives and parks cars
