Job summary

PALFINGER is seeking a Parts Customer Service Representative to be a key point of contact for customers and dealers, providing timely support regarding parts availability, pricing, ordering, and delivery. You will coordinate closely with internal teams and vendors to ensure accurate order processing and exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate has five years of experience in an industrial spare parts sales or customer service environment, a High School Diploma or equivalent, and

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in industrial spare parts sales or customer service.
• Familiarity with spare parts operations within dealer parts and service departments.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with the ability to provide effective solutions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); mechanical knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding parts pricing, availability, and replacement options.
• Process customer orders accurately and obtain all required information at order acceptance.
• Provide dealers with order status updates, shipping information, and support for expediting backordered parts.
• Educate customers on spare parts procedures, sales orders, return policies, and warranty guidelines.
• Partner with service teams, shop personnel, and vendors to support production needs and provide parts application information.
