Job summary

Owen Equipment Company is seeking a Parts Customer Service Representative at our Spokane branch to assist customers and technicians in identifying and purchasing the correct parts. The role supports the service department, processes orders, and helps keep inventory organized and shipping on time.

You will use manufacturer catalogs, diagrams and lookup systems to identify parts, provide pricing and availability, and follow up on quotes and backorders to convert them into sales.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in parts, counter sales, customer service or warehouse work.
• Ability to read parts catalogs, diagrams and electronic parts lookup systems.
• Basic computer skills, including order entry, email, Word and Excel.
• Clear verbal and written communication and accuracy with orders, payments and counts.
• Comfortable contacting customers proactively and recommending products.
• Able to switch between counter, phone, warehouse and admin work on a small team.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and technicians in person, by phone, and by email with parts identification, pricing, availability and orders.
• Identify correct parts using catalogs, diagrams and lookup systems.
• Provide technical product information and resolve issues per policy.
• Follow up on open quotes and backorders to convert to sales.
• Process quotes, orders, payments and returns accurately.
• Fulfill parts for service work orders and coordinate with technicians for timely delivery.
• Source parts from vendors and other Owen locations to minimize downtime.
• Receive, stock, pick, pack and ship parts with accurate inventory records.
