Mills Auto Group is seeking an Experienced Luxury Auto Parts Counter Specialist for our BMW & MB dealership in Bowling Green, KY. You will assist technicians, wholesale and retail customers, and manage OEM parts using EPC with a focus on accuracy and customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years in automotive parts counter (Luxury/European preferred).
• Proficiency with EPC and DMS (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, DealerTrack) and general computer navigation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a client-focused attitude.
• Strong multi-tasking and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Assist service technicians, wholesale customers, and retail clients at the parts counter with precision and professionalism.
• Use EPC to identify, locate, and order OEM parts and accessories for BMW and Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
• Process special orders, track back-ordered parts, and update service advisors and customers on status.
• Receive, unpack, inspect, and stock incoming inventory; conduct regular inventory audits for accuracy.
• Maintain clean, organized stockrooms and display areas adhering to brand standards.
• Follow all company safety policies and local/federal guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist service technicians, wholesale customers, and retail clients at the parts counter with precision and professionalism.
• Utilize electronic parts catalogs (EPC) to accurately identify, locate, and order OEM parts and accessories for BMW and Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
• Process special orders, track back ordered parts, and communicate timely status updates to service advisors and customers.
• Receive, unpack, inspect, and stock incoming inventory; conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain clean, organized stockrooms and display areas adhering to brand standards.
• Comply with all company safety protocols and local/federal guidelines.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 2+ years of automotive parts counter experience required (Luxury brand/European vehicle experience is strongly preferred).
• Technical Skills: Proficiency with Electronic Parts Catalogs (EPC), Dealership Management Systems (DMS) (e.g., CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealer track), and general computer navigation.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a client-focused attitude.
• Organization: Strong multi-tasking skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish
• Work with parts manager to locate any parts not in stock
• Complete special order part request for the customer
• Communicate with customer on parts status
• Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations applicable to industry

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience with auto parts sales (preferred)
• Able to work in a fast-paced work environment
