Job summary

Alta Equipment Group, the leading equipment dealer in North America, is seeking a full-time Parts Counter Associate for its South Elgin, IL branch. The role offers an hourly wage range of $24–$30 and requires at least one year of parts counter experience, a valid driver’s license, and high school diploma.

ASE certifications are a plus. You will process parts purchases, actively sell parts, maintain order, assist with inventory, and deliver parts to customers, all while upholding Alta’s guiding

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of heavy equipment/auto/truck parts counter experience.
• Valid driver’s license (chauffeurs license preferred).
• High school diploma or GED.
• ASE certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process parts purchases and sales.
• Actively sell parts and ensure margins.
• Maintain department order and cleanliness.
• Assist in physical inventory counts.
• Deliver parts to customers.
• Provide excellent customer service and internal support.
