Job summary

Ascendance Truck Centers is seeking a second shift Parts Counter Person. This role primarily sells parts to customers over the counter, through the shop, or on the phone.

The candidate will assist in selecting required parts, inform customers of companion part requirements, and handle price quotes and freight charges. Expect to work Monday to Friday 2:00 PM–10:00 PM with rotating Saturdays 7:00 AM–12:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Two to four years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents; write routine reports; speak before groups.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting parts over the counter, shop, or phone.
• Inform customers of companion part requirements and specials; expose full product line.
• Answer phone calls with price quotes and information; manage freight charges.
