Job summary

Ascendance Truck Centers is seeking a Parts Counter Person to sell parts over the counter, in the shop, or by phone. The role emphasizes friendly, professional service and accurate order processing.

The position involves selecting parts for customers, providing quotes, and ensuring parts availability and correct pricing in alignment with estimates. Training is provided and a strong culture supports growth and advancement.

Qualifications

• Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions; write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to perform basic math and interpret data.
• Strong problem solving and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assists customers in selecting required parts over the counter, shop, or phone.
• Provides price quotes, informs customers of companion part requirements, and exposes full product line.
• Pulls and fills orders from stock; notifies parts manager of out-of-stock items.
• Keeps records organized and ensures accurate billing on service or repair orders.
