Job summary

AutoInc in Odessa, TX is seeking a Parts Counter Associate to assist customers, present a full product line, pull purchased parts from stock, and support the Parts Department.

The position requires a high school diploma, basic math, reading and writing skills, good verbal communication, and the ability to use a computer and 10-key calculator; valid TX driver's license and ability to lift up to 75 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Basic math, reading and writing skills.
• Must be able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instruction furnished in written or oral form.
• Must be able to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

• Assist all customers (retail, wholesale and internal) in selecting required parts, suggest companion requirements, offer specials, and ensure that the customer is exposed to the full product line
• Be friendly, professional and efficient when working with all customers and/or employees, both on the phone and in person
• Pull purchased parts from stock
• Assist with warehouse stocking
• Assist with keeping the warehouse clean
• Assist with shipping, receiving and deliveries as requested by management
