Job summary

Team Wieland Truck & Trailer is seeking a parts counter associate in Michigan to deliver exceptional customer service while identifying truck parts from catalogs and assisting mechanics. You will locate parts in the warehouse and support customers at the counter, ensuring accurate availability and efficient service.

Qualified candidates are comfortable with Windows 10, Excel, and ADP Dealer Management systems, and must have a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Must have strong organizational and customer service skills.
• Ability to work with parts catalogs to identify truck parts by make/model/year.
• Ability to locate parts in warehouse and issue to mechanics/customers at counter.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service at the parts counter.
• Refer to electronic catalogs and manuals to identify correct parts.
• Locate items from warehouse and issue to customers and mechanics.
• Check part availability when dealers are out of stock.
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Must consistently provide excellent customer service experience.
• Refer to electronic parts catalogs and parts manuals to identify the correct truck parts for specific make, model and year of truck.
• Ability to locate the items from the warehouse and issue the parts and accessories to mechanics and to customers from the parts counter.
• Must be able to locate availability of the parts if the dealer is out of stock.
• Cleanliness must be maintained in the work area.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Organizational skills and follow through.
• Required to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally assist in lifting or moving up to 100 lbs. using upper body strength and mechanical lifting equipment.
• Required to spend long hours sitting or standing.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with customers, co-workers, and general public.
• Must be self-motivated, hardworking, and dependable person.
• Must possess the ability to be adaptable and willing to perform assignments beyond normal duties when asked.
• Must possess the ability to follow instructions and to accept constructive feedback.
• Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 and Excel.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Associates Degree Preferred Or Equivalent Experience In Field.

• Fork Truck License preferred.
• Computer skills using ADP Dealer Management system and various OEM inventory catalog programs preferred.
• Heavy Duty Truck: 1 year (Preferred)
• Sales: 1 year (Preferred)
