Ballard Truck Center in West Springfield, MA is seeking a Parts Counter Representative to assist walk-in customers, pull parts, and handle phone inquiries. You will help customers choose the right parts and propose compatible accessories to complete orders.

Responsibilities

• Assist walk-in customers in selecting required parts, suggest companion requirements, offer specials, and ensure exposure to full product line.
• Pull purchased parts from stock.
• If part not in stock, determine availability and submit emergency order on request.
• Answer phone calls with price quotes and information.
• Assist outside sales representatives with their orders.
• Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
• Notify customer re: ordered parts, restock returns, cores.
• Be friendly, professional and efficient with all customers.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Assist walk-in customers in selecting required parts, suggest companion requirements, offer specials, and ensure that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
• Pull purchased parts from stock
• If the part is not in stock, determine availability and submit an emergency order if requested by the customer.
• Answer phone calls in a timely manner, providing price quotes and other information.
• Assist outside sales representatives with their orders.
• Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
• Notify customer re: ordered parts, promptly restock returns, cores.
• Be friendly, professional and efficient when working with all customers, both on the phone and in person
