Ballard Truck Center in Avon, MA, is seeking a Parts Counter Representative to assist customers, locate and pull parts, and coordinate orders for delivery or pickup. The role requires strong customer service skills and previous experience in parts or retail environments.

You will handle phone inquiries, quotes, and collaborate with sales staff, while maintaining professionalism and a neat appearance. This is a on-site position with uniform provided and benefits.

• Assist walk-in customers in selecting required parts and suggest companions.

Responsibilities and Duties

Parts Counter Representative Responsibilities Include:

• Assist walk-in customers in selecting required parts, suggest companion requirements, offer specials, and ensure that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
• Pull purchased parts from stock
• If the part is not in stock, determine availability and submit an emergency order if requested by the customer.
• Answer phone calls in a timely manner, providing price quotes and other information.
• Assist outside sales representatives with their orders.
• Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.
• Notify customer re: ordered parts, promptly restock returns, cores.
• Be friendly, professional and efficient when working with all customers, both on the phone and in person
