Job summary

JX Truck Center in Oak Creek, WI is seeking a Parts Counter Representative to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. You will assist with retail orders, locate parts, and support mechanics while handling basic billing and inventory tasks.

This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm schedule and a competitive compensation package. Prior experience is welcome but not required; strong computer skills and a customer-first attitude will help you

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 0–1 year of experience preferred; 1+ year desired.
• Basic customer service skills and intermediate computer proficiency.
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 75 pounds and bending.
• Shift: Mon–Fri 8:00am–4:30pm.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in person and over the phone with basic inquiries.
• Assist with retail order fulfillment, billing, and inventory returns.
• Navigate company Business Systems and E-Portal programs.
• Support mechanics by locating parts in inventory.
• Perform basic physical inventory under supervision.
• Collaborate with team and leadership to ensure positive customer experiences.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs.

• Perform basic physical inventory functions under supervision.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support business needs.
• Collaborate closely with team members and leadership to continuously cultivate positive experiences for our customers.
• Perform other dynamic duties and responsibilities as assigned to support business.

What We're Looking For (Qualifications & Skills)

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Entry level zero (0) years of experience.
• Prefer minimum of one (1) + year(s) of experience.
• Basic customer service skills and intermediate computer proficiency.
• The employee is frequently required to bend, squat, kneel, and crawl/lay on back; reach away from body or shoulder height; climb or balance; lift up to 75 pounds; push or pull; working in areas with fumes or airborne particles; vibration.
