Wabash is seeking a Warehouse Parts Counter to deliver exceptional service while controlling material movement and maintaining inventory records. You will work in a fast paced environment ensuring accurate transactions and safe handling of freight.

Responsibilities include receiving, sorting, counting, using forklift, recording discrepancies, cycle counts, and supporting the Parts Manager. Strong communication, basic math, and computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Basic math and computer skills for inventory reporting.

Responsabilités

• Move material from trucks to correct areas and document damages.
• Verify quantities against packing slips and note discrepancies with Parts Manager.
• Label parts with part numbers and P.O. numbers and store in correct location.
• Operate forklift safely and perform daily inspections.
• Receive material from fabrication and store it properly.
• Conduct cycle counts and year-end inventory.
• Prepare outbound orders to minimize shipping damage and maintain clean work area.
• Follow safety policies to protect yourself and others.
