Job summary

CJ Logistics America is seeking a Warehouse Counter Associate to deliver prompt, accurate customer service at the warehouse counter and manage parts issuance per work orders. The role supports inventory control, documentation, and real-time system updates to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities include handling counter requests, coordinating with planners, and ensuring compliance with safety and 5S standards while contributing to continuous improvements in a fast-paced warehouse

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent – or equivalent relevant experience.
• 1-2 years of related experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic math and reading skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective problem‑solving and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Issue parts promptly in response to work orders and customer counter requests.
• Respond to trouble calls or immediate customer needs at the counter.
• Document movement of items in the system at time of issue, return, credit, or transfer.
• Notify planners and management of PIAC status, stock discrepancies, or items needing block status.
• Pick, transport, and put away orders as needed.
• Conduct daily bin balances and cycle counts, documenting all verifications and discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and 5S standards.
• Participate in required training and support continuous process improvements.
