Job summary

Anderson Equipment Company, a family‑owned heavy equipment distributor in the Northeast, seeks a Warehouse Worker to move merchandise through the warehouse and support inventory control, shipping, receiving, warehousing and returns.

You will conduct cycle counts, adjust the Parts Inventory system, pull orders for shipping to customers or other branches, process returns, and coordinate with the Service Department to ensure technicians have the correct parts. Safety is a priority.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in warehouse at heavy equipment, auto, parts dealerships.
• Knowledge of inventory controls, documentation, filling orders, shipping.
• Experience and ability to operate forklift is a plus.
• Must be able to bend, stand, reach, lift, carry items in the warehouse.
• Focus on safety protocols must be maintained at all times.

Responsibilities

• Move merchandise through the warehouse.
• Maintain broad knowledge of the warehouse function including inventory control, shipping, receiving, warehousing and returns.
• Inventory control includes cycle counts and adjusting parts into the inventory system.
• Shipping includes pulling parts orders and preparing them for shipping to customers or other branches.
• Receiving requires processing returns and adjusting inventory.
• Coordinate with the Service Department to ensure technicians have correct parts for work orders.
