Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co. is hiring a Parts Counter Attendant to support our growing team of parts professionals.

The role involves answering calls, assisting customers with parts, and issuing parts to shop mechanics, while placing orders for Cat and Allied parts. Ideal candidates have mechanical aptitude, familiarity with our product line, solid customer service skills, and the ability to learn new systems.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude required to diagnose parts needs and assist customers.
• Familiarity with the Caterpillar product line and parts.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Intermediate computer and keyboarding skills for data entries and lookup.
• Willingness to learn new systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Answer parts phone calls and assist customers with parts needs.
• Issue parts to shop mechanics accurately.
• Place orders for Cat and Allied parts.
• Utilize parts databases and research back-orders.
• Research customer credit status and account details.
• Support other team members as needed.

Cleveland Brothers Equipment Co., Inc., your local Caterpillar dealership, is looking for a highly motivated self-starter to join our growing team of established and successful parts professionals.

Primary Responsibilities

• Answer parts phone calls.
• Assist customers with their parts needs.
• Issue parts to shop mechanics.
• Place orders for Caterpillar and Allied parts.
• Utilize parts data bases. * Research back-orders.
• Research customer credit status.

Skills / Knowledge / Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude.
• Familiarity with product line.
• Customer service skills.
• Intermediate computer and keyboarding skills.
• Ability to learn new systems.

Graduate of a technical school, military school, or relevant working experience acceptable to the company.
