SouthWest GMC LLC is seeking a Parts Counter Associate to assist guests in-store, by phone, or online. You’ll pull and fill orders, organize inventory, and stay up-to-date with new products and updates while communicating with our team, vendors, and guests in a friendly, professional manner.

This entry-point role suits car enthusiasts who enjoy solving problems and have experience in automotive parts sales.

Qualifications

• Previous parts retail sales experience.
• A valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Excellent follow-up skills, frequently communicating inventory and availability of parts.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• A professional appearance and work ethic.
• Excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Inform customers of companion part requirements and specials, ensuring exposure to full product line.
• Notify Parts Manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials needing immediate attention.
• Locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submit emergency order if necessary.
• Notify Service Advisor when special order parts are received.
• Follow-up on back-ordered parts.
• On a weekly basis, verify will-call and back-order files and vendor returns.
• Assist outside sales reps with their orders.
• Ensure internal requests for parts are billed on service repair orders.
• Maintain organized records of repair orders and invoices.

As a Parts Counter Associate, you are responsible for assisting guests primarily through the shop, on the phone, or online.
