Platinum Chevrolet Cadillac in Terrell, TX is seeking a Parts Counter Associate to assist guests via shop, phone, or online. You will pull and fill orders, organize inventory, and communicate with our team to ensure accurate, timely parts service.

Responsibilities

• Inform customers of companion part requirements and specials, exposing the full product line.
• Notify Parts Manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
• Locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submit emergency order if necessary.
• Notify Service Advisor when special order parts are received.
• Follow-up on back-ordered parts.
• On a weekly basis, verify will-call and back-order files as well as vendor returns, and stock items not picked up.
• Assist outside sales representatives with their orders.
• Ensure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order.
• Maintain organized records of repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates and special-order parts.
• Assist Parts Manager in maintaining a lost sales tracking program.

You’ll provide exceptional guest experience by pulling and filling orders, organizing inventory, keeping current on new products and product updates, and communicating with our internal team, external vendors, and guests in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
