Job summary
Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) seeks a Parts Development Cost Management Specialist to join the Cost Management team. You will support Cost Optimization (CO) and VA/VE activities across Procurement, Engineering, and suppliers, coordinate cost reduction initiatives, and track savings with reporting to stakeholders.
You will analyze spending, develop dashboards in Excel/SAP, prepare management reports, and help meet annual cost targets.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering, Manufacturing, or analytics.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office, advanced Excel abilities.
- Experience with SAP/SharePoint or similar systems is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Cost optimization tracking and reporting across units.
- Coordinate cost reduction opportunities with buyers and suppliers.
- Validate and report projected and realized savings.
- Support annual cost reduction targets and planning.
- Analyze spending trends to identify improvement opportunities.
- Plan and coordinate CO/VA/VE workshops with stakeholders.
- Develop dashboards and presentations to communicate cost performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for localization and sourcing optimization.
