Job Description

The Parts Coordinator is responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience by managing the ordering, receiving, storing, dispatching, and returning of parts for each repair order. The role involves verifying the accuracy and quality of parts received, ensuring timely delivery to meet the production schedule.

Key Job Responsibilities
  • Execute the WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan consistently.
  • Communicate customer requests and needs effectively to the team.
  • Work with vendors to order and receive parts, ensuring correctness and quality.
  • Distribute parts to the shop in accordance with the schedule.
  • Enter invoices into the Management Information System (MIS).
  • Label, track, and store parts appropriately.
  • Monitor vendor performance and reconcile invoices regularly.
  • Post and file invoices and credit memos promptly.
  • Ensure vendor discounts are correctly applied to maintain profit margins.
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3+ years experience with automotive parts, auto body parts a plus.
  • Customer service skills, organizational ability, problem-solving skills.
  • I-Car Gold Class certification (or working towards it).
Skills and Abilities
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Attention to detail and high accuracy.
  • Ability to manage a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
  • Knowledge of vehicle repair practices and relevant MIS software.
  • Proficiency in tools like Mitchell, Audatex, Car-part, Progi, APU, LKQ B2B.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work well with others and adapt to changing priorities.
Other Requirements
  • Physical ability to bend, crouch, reach, and handle tools.
  • Lifting in excess of 50 lbs.

Compensation
