Job summary

VIVE Collision is seeking a highly motivated Parts Coordinator to manage parts ordering, receiving, and distribution in a busy collision repair shop. You will collaborate with the General Manager, estimators, and technicians to resolve parts-related issues and ensure timely repairs.

The role requires experience in a collision center’s parts department, familiarity with automotive parts, and strong communication. Training and career growth are available in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working at a collision repair center in a parts capacity.
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and CCC ONE estimating software preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others and read basic estimates/work orders.
• Multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Order parts from vendors and dealerships based on estimates and supplements.
• Communicate with estimators regarding part availability and delivery delays.
• Return incorrect parts to vendors promptly.
• Monitor deliveries and track parts status with vendors as needed.
• Mirror match part orders to repair orders and inspect-in parts.

The specific pay rate/salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by several factors including experience, education, specialized certifications from OEMs, and where the job is located.

The Parts Coordinator is responsible for ordering, receiving, processing, shop distribution quality checking, and monitoring parts throughout the repair process. Working closely with the General Manager, Estimators, and Technicians for parts-related issues within the shop.

Job Responsibilities:

• Order parts from vendors and dealerships based on estimates and supplements
• Communicate with estimators regarding part availability, delivery, delays, etc.
• Return incorrect parts immediately to vendors
• Monitor Deliveries and track parts status. Communicate with vendors on status if needed
• Drive parts-related KPI’s
• Mirror match part orders to corresponding repair orders
• Inspect and check in parts, identify damage upon deliveryMonitor Deliveries
• All other duties assigned

Skills, Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience working at a collision repair center in a parts capacity
• Knowledge of CCC ONE estimating software is strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts
• Ability to effectively communicate with others
• Ability to read and understand basic instructions, written estimates, and work orders
• Multi-tasking; adapt easily to fast-paced environments
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel and pull
• Carry and lift heavy objects (up to 80lbs)
• Standing, sitting, and walking
• Performing repetitive motions
