Job summary

Crown Collision, Powered by VIVE Collision in Bristol, RI is seeking a full-time Parts Coordinator to join our collision repair team. This role focuses on ordering, receiving, processing and tracking parts throughout the repair process, working closely with estimators and technicians.

The ideal candidate has 3 years parts experience, strong automotive parts knowledge, and good communication. Benefits include health coverage, 401(k) with employer match, paid time off, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3 years parts experience preferred.
• Experience working at a collision repair center in a parts capacity.
• Must be at least 18 years of age; must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Order parts from vendors and dealerships based on estimates and supplements.
• Communicate with estimators regarding part availability, delivery, delays, etc.
• Return incorrect parts immediately to vendors.
• Monitor Deliveries and track parts status. Communicate with vendors on status if needed.
• Drive parts related KPI’s.
• All other duties assigned.

The Parts Coordinator is responsible for ordering, receiving, processing, and monitoring parts throughout the repair process. Working closely with the General Manager, Estimators, and Technicians for issues that are parts-related within the shop.

Job Responsibilities:

• Order parts from vendors and dealerships based on estimates and supplements
• Communicate with estimators regarding part availability, delivery, delays, etc.
• Return incorrect parts immediately to vendors
• Monitor Deliveries and track parts status. Communicate with vendors on status if needed
• Drive parts related KPI’s
• All other duties assigned

Skills, Qualifications & Requirements:

• 3 years parts experience preferred
• Experience working at a collision repair center in a parts capacity
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts
• Ability to effectively communicate with others
• Ability to read and understand basic instructions, written estimates, and work orders
• Multi-tasking; adapt easily to fast-paced environments
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a valid drivers license

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel and pull
• Carry and lift heavy objects (up to 80lbs)
• Standing, sitting, and walking
• Performing repetitive motions
