Job summary

ProFrac is seeking a Parts Clerk to receive, unpack, count stock items, and deliver to designated destinations within our parts department. You will charge out parts to proper units and help maintain inventory, security and integrity of the stockroom.

The role requires basic reading, writing and math skills, ability to work independently or as part of a team, and comfort using computers to enter data. Expect 40 hours per week with potential extended hours as business needs dictate.

Qualifications

  • Basic education, reading, writing and math skills required.
  • Must gain at least two years of experience, or equivalent knowledge, before promotion.
  • Sensitive to confidential information and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Receives, unpacks and counts stock items, and records data manually or electronically.
  • Retrieves stocked items or parts, packs items and delivers to designated recipients.
  • Maintains inventory levels; assists in maintaining inventory control.
  • Stores items in an orderly and accessible manner in parts department, supply rooms, or other areas.
  • Communicates inventory levels and related matters with other departments.
  • Maintain integrity of parts room and related secured areas.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Responsible for incoming parts and delivery to appropriate destinations. Responsibilities include charging out parts to proper units and maintaining inventory, security and integrity of parts department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Receives, unpacks and counts stock items, and records data manually or electronically.
  • Retrieves stocked items or parts, packs items and delivers to designated recipients.
  • Maintains inventory levels; assists in maintaining inventory control.
  • Stores items in an orderly and accessible manner in parts department, supply rooms, or other areas.
  • Communicates inventory levels and related matters with other departments.
  • Maintain integrity of parts room and related secured areas.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Educational and Other Requirements:
  • Basic education, reading, writing and math skills needed to perform responsibilities.
  • Previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is preferred.
  • General knowledge of state and federal regulations for storing stock.
  • General knowledge of machinery, equipment, parts or warehouse activities preferred.
  • General knowledge and skills used to help others required.
  • Must gain at least two years of experience, or equivalent knowledge, skill and training before promoting to Parts Clerk II.
  • Sensitive to confidential information.
  • Must work independently and as a member of team.
Mental and Physical Requirements:
  • Able to read, speak and write English.
  • Strong physical and mental health to maintain demanding workload.
  • Able to work under stressful conditions at times.
  • Communication – verbal and written communication.
  • Climbing - able to go up and down stairs
  • Able to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Position will require a minimum of 40 hours per week with frequent extended hours as business needs dictate.
  • Using relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards.
  • Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.
  • Uses computers and computer systems to set up functions, enter data, or process information.
  • Develops constructive and cooperative working relationships and maintaining them over time.
  • Dependable, reliable, fulfills responsibilities.
