Job summary

Young Audi Volkswagen in Layton, Utah is seeking a Parts Associate to assist customers with parts and accessories and to manage in-store inventory and orders. You will process orders at the counter, respond to phone inquiries, and coordinate follow-up on special orders while maintaining accurate records and a professional appearance.

Ideal candidates have automotive parts experience, strong communication skills, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive parts or service environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must pass background check and drug screen.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Experience with Tekion (ADP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist retail customers in selecting required parts or accessories in a friendly professional and efficient manner.
• Locates or orders parts as needed.
• Prepares invoices for parts to be handed over the counter.
• Answers retail phone calls and assists customers over the phone.
• Follow up with customers over the phone on special order parts.
• Keeps parts manager informed on the status of accounts.
• Maintains professional appearance.
