Morgan Auto Group’s Mazda at the Avenues in Florida is seeking a PARTS ADVISOR to join our team. This entry level position offers benefits, training, and growth opportunities within a supportive dealership group.

Responsibilities include providing fast service to customers, pricing parts, preparing purchase orders, and maintaining inventory records. Weekend shifts are required. Competitive benefits accompany full-time employment.

Qualifications

• This is an entry level role—no automotive experience required.
• If you're organized and have great communication skills, this may be the job for you.
• Must be willing to work weekends, including Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast and courteous service to technicians, retail, and wholesale customers.
• List and price out parts on repair orders and/or counter tickets.
• Write purchase orders for parts and sublet work as needed from outside suppliers and obtain management approval.
• List and price out all sublet repair work on repair orders.
• Input loss and sales into the inventory control system.
• Maintain records of all special-order parts and notify the order authorizer of receipt.
• Maintain a customer backorder file.
• Maintain special-order parts inventory in a clean and orderly manner.
• Ensure defective parts are turned in for warranty scrap and properly tagged.
• Assist with scrap parts for factory claims with the factory representative.
• Maintain warranty return parts inventory in a clean, organized manner.
• Participate in perpetual inventory.
• Help maintain parts catalogs, price schedules, and other technical information/bulletins.
• Keep work area clean, safe, and organized.
