Job summary

MB TRACTOR & EQUIPMENT is seeking a parts counter associate to determine customer parts needs, quote prices, and manage inventory and transactions. The role emphasizes customer service, product knowledge, and accurate clerical work in a store setting.

Responsibilities include using computerized catalogs, processing requisitions and POs, and reconciling inventory daily. Candidates should have HS or equivalent and 3–5 years in parts distribution, with mechanical knowledge and strong communication

Qualifications

• Education: HS or equivalent; technical or college preferred.
• 3–5 years’ customer service experience in parts distribution.
• Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with parts distribution software.
• Strong listening and telephone communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Determine customer parts needs via phone or in-person.
• Consult catalogs and price lists to quote price and availability.
• Process requisitions, purchase orders, receipts, and transfers; audit inventory daily.
• Receive parts, complete paperwork, reconcile receiving discrepancies.
• Coordinate with store staff and accept payments; maintain accuracy.
