Job summary

Prestige Toyota of Ramsey in Ramsey, NJ is hiring a Parts Advisor to provide vehicle parts and merchandise to customers while delivering exceptional service. You will greet customers, answer calls, coordinate parts with the service team, and maintain the counter, stockroom and inventory.

Requirements include 1+ year parts advisor experience, basic knowledge of automotive components, and a valid driver's license. Automotive dealership experience and relevant certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1+ years parts advisor experience, preferably in an automotive dealership
• Understand basic automotive components and systems
• Valid driver''s license and acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Provide vehicle parts and merchandise to customers with excellent service
• Answer phones and greet customers and vendors
• Maintain clean counter, work area, and stockroom
• Coordinate parts with Service Team to support repairs
• Order parts from suppliers per requests
• Receive, unpack, and store parts for easy access
• Take inventory and maintain records of goods received
• Receive payment or obtain credit authorization
• Process core returns, warranties, and parts returns

GROWTH = OPPORTUNITY You will report to the Parts Manager. This is an on-site position in Ramsey, NJ.

Responsibilities

• As a Parts Advisor you will provide vehicle parts and merchandise to customers while providing exceptional customer service.
• You will answer the telephone and greet customers and vendors.
• Maintain clean counter, work area, and stockroom.
• You will work with the Service Team to coordinate parts for vehicle repair and service.
• Order parts from suppliers based on Service Department and customer requests.
• Receive, unpack, and store parts in appropriate storage areas so they are available when needed.
• Take inventory, maintain records of goods received and keep perpetual inventory controls.
• Receive payment or obtain credit authorization.
• Process core returns, parts warranties and parts returns.

Qualifications

• 1+ years parts advisor experience, preferable
• Understand basic automotive components and systems
• Automotive dealership service experience preferable
• Any automotive certifications preferable
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence

Est. Annual Earnings ranges from $40,000.00 to $60,000.00 Actual pay offered may vary depending on experience, job-related knowledge/bonus/commission, location, etc.
