Job summary

Latham Ford is hiring a Parts Advisor to provide vehicle parts and related merchandise to customers while delivering outstanding service. You will coordinate with the Service Team to source parts, manage stock, and ensure accurate inventory records. A valid driver’s license and dealership experience are required.

The role offers a competitive compensation package, with earnings potential ranging from the mid to upper end of the posted scale, and benefits as outlined in the dealership's plan.

Qualifications

• Experience as a dealership parts advisor is required.
• Understanding of basic automotive components and systems.
• CDK experience is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide vehicle parts and merchandise with excellent customer service.
• Answer phones and greet customers and vendors professionally.
• Keep counter, work area and stockroom clean and organized.
• Coordinate parts with the Service Team for repairs and service.
• Order parts from suppliers based on requests.
• Receive, unpack and store parts for easy access.
• Maintain inventory records and perpetual controls.
• Process payments or obtain credit authorization.
• Handle core returns and warranties as needed.

Responsibilities:

• As a Parts Advisor you will be responsible for providing vehicle parts and merchandise to customers while providing exceptional customer service.
• Answer telephone and greet customers & vendors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Maintain clean and professional appearance of counter, work area, and stockroom.
• Interact with the Service Team to coordinate parts for vehicle repair and service.
• Order parts from suppliers based on Service Department and customer requests.
• Receive, unpack, and store parts in appropriate storage areas so they are readily available when needed.
• Takes inventory, maintain records of goods received and keeps perpetual inventory controls.
• Receive payment or obtain credit authorization.
• Process core returns, parts warranties and parts returns as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Previous dealership parts advisor experience, required CDK experience preferred
• Understand basic automotive components and systems
• Automotive dealership service experience is a plus
• Any automotive certifications is a plus
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence

Est. Annual Earnings ranges from $40,000 to $70,000 Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge/bonus/commission, location, etc.
