Qualifications

  • Erfahrung im Verkauf von Autoersatzteilen bevorzugt.

Parts Advisor– Full Time

Tuesday: 8am-5pm
Wednesday: 8am-5pm
Thursday:8am-4pm
Friday: 9am-7pm
Saturday: 7:30am-4pm
Saturday & Monday: OFF

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the parts sales process from start to finish
  • Communicating with customers on parts status
  • Setting up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up
  • Reviewing body shop estimates to be sure the parts that are ordered are correct and all pricing is in line with the estimate
  • Receiving payment from retail customers or obtaining credit authorization
  • Pulling and filling orders from stock
  • Reading and understanding the parts catalog when looking up parts
  • Maintaining weekly bin checks to ensure accuracy of stock
  • Notifying parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention
  • Locating out-of-stock parts from outside source and submits an emergency order, if necessary
  • Making sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order Communicating with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Answering phone calls; providing price quotes and other information
  • Providing high level service to internal and external customers

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience with auto parts sales preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
  • Must have a clean driving record and hold a valid driver’s license
  • Must be willing and able to submit to a Background Check and Drug Screen
