Qualifications

Minimum five years of recent experience in an accounting firm focused on partnership federal and state tax compliance.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
Licensed CPA, Enrolled Agent or JD/LLM; must obtain one approved designation if not held at start.
Demonstrated quality service mindset, strong technical aptitude and critical thinking.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills; able to articulate complex information.
Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Provide tax compliance and consulting services to partnerships for a variety of clients from Fortune 100 companies to mid-market businesses.
Consult on transaction calculations, partner economics, tax distributions, and other events throughout the partnership lifecycle.
Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team focused on high quality partnership consulting and reporting, including technology design and industry knowledge.
Lead, counsel and train teams of tax professionals on process and tax technical; manage a portfolio of clients and act as the contact for internal and external clients.
Oversee risk and performance of engagements including budgets, resource planning, status and financial metrics.
Stay current on tax practices, new technologies and tools; participate in technology or process development initiatives and external market activities.
