Job summary

KPMG is seeking a Senior Manager to join our Business Tax Services practice in Los Angeles, focusing on partnership federal and state tax compliance and consulting for a diverse client base, from Fortune 100 to mid-market.

You will lead and mentor teams, manage engagements, oversee risk and budgets, and stay abreast of evolving tax rules and technology tools while ensuring high-quality client service.

Qualifications

• Eight years of partnership federal and state tax compliance experience.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
• CPA, Enrolled Agent or JD/LL.M. with approved credentials; must obtain at least one within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax compliance and consulting services to partnerships for various clients.
• Consult on transaction calculations, partner economics, tax distributions, and lifecycle events.
• Lead, mentor, and train tax professionals; manage client engagements and portfolios.
• Oversee engagement risk, budgets, resource planning, and financial metrics.
• Stay current on tax practices and contribute to technology/process initiatives.
