Job summary

KPMG LLP is seeking a Manager to join our Business Tax Services practice in the United States. You will lead tax compliance and consulting for partnerships across Fortune 100 and mid-market clients, guiding transaction calculations and partner economics throughout the lifecycle.

You will supervise and mentor tax professionals, manage engagements with budgets and resources, and stay current on tax practices while leveraging technology to deliver high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of recent experience in an accounting firm focused on partnership federal and state tax compliance.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
• CPA, Enrolled Agent or J.D./LL.M., with approved credential; must obtain if not held.
• Demonstrated quality service mindset, strong technical aptitude and analytical skills; MS Office and tax software experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Provide tax compliance and consulting services to partnerships for Fortune 100 to mid-market clients.
• Consult on transaction calculations, partner economics, tax distributions, and events across the partnership lifecycle.
• Lead, counsel and train teams of tax professionals; manage client portfolios and act as main contact.
• Oversee risk and performance of engagements including budgets, resources, status and metrics.
• Keep up to date on current tax practices and participate in technology/process initiatives; contribute to market activities outside the firm.
