Responsibilities include representing clients in all stages of Workers' Compensation litigation, developing defense strategies, and negotiating settlements, while collaborating with attorneys and staff to manage a high-volume caseload.

Qualifications

• JD from a accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice in North Carolina.
• 8+ years of experience in workers' compensation defense.
• Portable business with at least 50 transferrable files.
• Proven track record of successful defense outcomes.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Representing clients in all stages of Workers' Compensation litigation.
• Developing and implementing defense strategies and negotiating settlements.
• Handling a high volume of cases from inception through resolution.
• Conducting legal research and drafting pleadings and motions.
• Providing legal advice to clients, interpreting laws, rulings, and regulations.
• Participating in trials, depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and hearings.
• Working closely with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants to ensure cases are handled efficiently.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Workers' Compensation laws and regulations.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, judges, and opposing counsel.

Salary: $175,000 - $225,000 per year

• Representing our clients in all stages of Workers' Compensation litigation.

• Conducting legal research and analysis, drafting pleadings and motions.
