Role Overview: As a Partner Success Manager (PSM) for Xero, you will deliver a best-in-class customer experience to established Xero partners. Your focus will be on partners currently on a business plan, supporting them in implementing Xero, fulfilling their contract, and setting them up for renewal success. You will also engage partners not on a business plan but with most clients on Xero, to grow their organic revenue and identify growth opportunities. Your role involves partner education on product offerings, programs, utilization, and upgrades, as well as uncovering upsell and cross-sell opportunities and preventing churn.

What You’ll Do:

  1. Collaborate with Post Sales Partner Consultants to deepen partner adoption and engagement, supporting their journey to meet business plan commitments.
  2. Work with accounting and bookkeeping firms to strategize revenue growth through cross-sell and up-sell opportunities.
  3. Mitigate churn risk through education and value demonstration, detecting issues early.
  4. Assist partners in optimizing client subscriptions and developing migration or upgrade plans.
  5. Educate partners on available resources, including webinars, events, and certification training.
  6. Gather and relay partner feedback on feature requests.
  7. Support user education on ancillary products, emphasizing benefits and usage.
  8. Build positive relationships with partners through service excellence, proactive management, and responsiveness.
  9. Travel regularly for industry events and onsite partner meetings.

Success Metrics:

  • Develop and execute strategic territory plans to meet revenue, retention, and KPI targets.
  • Build strong, deep relationships with partners and stakeholders, becoming a trusted advisor.
  • Own initiatives to foster sustainable revenue growth.
  • Contribute ideas for workflow optimization and partner experience enhancement.
  • Collaborate across teams including Customer Experience, Partner Community, Sales, Finance, and Marketing.

  • Manage numerous partner accounts, prioritizing based on opportunity potential.
  • Be result-driven, autonomous, and proactive.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Adapt to fast-paced, complex environments.

  • Possess knowledge of Salesforce CRM.
  • Demonstrate strong customer engagement skills.

Experience:

  • Experience in sales within a fast-paced technology or SaaS company.
  • Experience managing long-term client relationships.
  • Demo or Sales Engineer experience is a plus.
  • Accounting experience is beneficial.

Salary: $82,300 - $113,200 per year plus commission.
