Discovery Education - Los Angeles, California or Remote - Full time

Discovery Education is seeking a Partner Success Manager to join our Partner Success team. This role involves working directly with cross-functional teams in the region to develop engagement strategies, assess risks, and forecast portfolio performance to meet revenue targets. The position reports to the Director, Partner Success, and is based in California.

In This Role You Will:

  1. Manage an individual book of business, including account strategies, escalations, objectives, and initiatives aligned with Discovery Education’s methodologies.
  2. Understand SaaS business models and their impact on customer success.
  3. Coordinate and implement professional learning plans within districts.
  4. Stay informed about industry trends, engagement methodologies, and deal strategies.
  5. Assess risks and communicate findings to achieve quarterly churn targets.
  6. Bring planning, focus, and creativity to daily activities.
  7. Collaborate with sales and success leaders to identify trends and opportunities for engagement and professional development.
  8. Innovate, persuade, and problem-solve with partners and team members, incorporating learnings into daily work.

Core Competencies for Success:

  1. Experience supporting K12 institutions with SaaS or professional learning implementations.
  2. Ability to work with decision-makers and front-line users, understanding SaaS implementation challenges.
  3. Knowledge of retention, churn, and growth metrics, and value drivers in recurring revenue models.
  4. Skills in preparing, presenting, and revising forecasts based on risk assessments.
  5. Experience in coordinating and implementing professional learning plans within partnerships.
  6. Proficiency with Salesforce, Gainsight (preferred), and Microsoft Office.

Credentials and Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  2. At least 5+ years in customer success, service, or sales.
  3. Ability to travel 30-40% and work remotely.
  4. Legal right to work in the United States.

Must reside within California, preferably Southern California. The annual salary ranges from $87,850 to $95,000, depending on experience and skills.
