Job summary

HP in the United States is recruiting a Senior Account Executive to drive growth through strategic account plans and partner negotiations. You will manage complex deals, guide a team of sales professionals, and recruit new partners while ensuring compliance and performance targets are met.

You will combine transactional and relationship selling to expand HP's market presence, mentor colleagues, and optimize partner outcomes across the channel.

Qualifications

  • Four-year or graduate degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • Typically 7-10 years of enterprise selling experience.
  • Experience in channel & alliance or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as the expert to the partner for complex information regarding products, services, promotions, and configurations.
  • Develops and maintains account plans to promote sales growth within legal procedures.
  • Leads and oversees complex contract negotiations, ensuring terms meet partner and organizational objectives.
  • Transforms potential leads into joint sales activities; manages the funnel for partner deals and quotas.
  • Recruits new partners with risk assessment and business rationale for investments.
  • Promotes HP offerings to become a key part of the partner’s business and solutions.
  • Engages in transactional and relationship selling while guiding a team of sales professionals.
  • Mentors junior team members and supports their professional development.
  • Monitors partner performance against targets and provides insights for improvements.

  • Recruits new partners while providing risk assessment and business rationale for the organization’s investments.
  • Promotes and incorporates the organization’s offerings to become a key part of the partner’s business and solutions.
  • Engages in transactional and relationship selling while working with and influencing a team of sales professionals.
  • Mentors junior team members, sharing expertise, providing guidance, and contributing to their professional development.
  • Monitors partner performance against targets, analyzing data, and providing insights to drive improvements and optimize outcomes.
Education & Experience

Recommended

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 7-10 years of work experience, preferably in enterprise selling, channel & alliance, or a related field.

The on-target earnings (OTE) range for this role is $133,950 to $210,300 USD annually with a 80%/20% (salary/incentive) mix. There are additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonuses and/or equity (applies to United States of America candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
