OpenAI, Inc. is seeking a Program Manager to build and run our partner network in San Francisco.

You will turn an early program into a reliable operation: recruit and onboard partners, coordinate agreements and payments, manage external service providers, support local events and marketing, review service quality, and improve the program as we learn. You will work with local operators and internal teams to ensure commitments are clear, work gets done, and the people we serve receive high-quality

Qualifications

• 8+ years owning a complex partner, community or operational program from early design through execution at scale.
• Strong operational judgement across onboarding, financial workflows, events and multiple stakeholder groups.
• Able to earn trust with small-business owners, local technical operators and community leaders, and handle difficult conversations when needed.
• Familiar with ChatGPT, Codex and AI-enabled workflows.
• Use data and qualitative feedback to distinguish meaningful outcomes from activity counts.
• Write clearly, communicate risks early, work independently through ambiguity and collaborate effectively across teams.
• Experience creating playbooks, support systems or automation that lets a high-touch program scale.

Responsibilities

• Build the partner operating model from sourcing and onboarding to renewal and exit, with clear owners, timelines and escalation paths.
• Run partner onboarding with Legal, Finance and Procurement: track agreements and vendor setup to enable payments.
• Manage partner payments, reporting and related processes.
• Plan and support local workshops, deployments and events with partners, coordinating audiences, venues and budgets.
• Coordinate program marketing and communications with Community, Marketing and content partners.
• Build trusted relationships with local operators and partner organizations, coach partners and define access and funding boundaries.
• Create systems for the partner community: intake, knowledge base, service logs and regular check-ins.
• Develop and operate partner review processes with hiring manager and relevant teams; combine delivery, feedback and product use to improve support.
• Collaborate with analytics and product teams to assess program impact using data and feedback.
• Manage budgets, vendors, risks and dependencies across the program and keep stakeholders informed.
