Job summary

Citi is seeking a Partner Management Lead Officer for the Costco Product team in Schaumburg, IL to support acquisition strategies for Consumer and Small Business portfolios and to launch campaigns with cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes monitoring financial targets, translating insights into actions, and strengthening the Costco relationship while managing risk and compliance in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or Finance.
• MBA desirable.
• 6–10 years of relevant experience in marketing, product or project management and client/relationship management.
• Private label credit or bankcard industry experience preferred.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• High-energy, self-motivated with urgency, ownership and accountability.
• Ability to promote teamwork and collaboration at all levels.
• Experience leveraging AI to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office with emphasis on MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key liaison with the Partner, supporting profitable portfolio growth, ensuring delivery of marketing and financial/business plans, and strengthening the client relationship
• Drives new account acquisition in partnership with Marketing and cross-functional teams
• Partners with Marketing to execute strategy across all channels, including pre-selected direct mail, Costco channel credit integration, Citi.com, email, paid media, and in-store offers
• Identifies funnel optimization opportunities through competitor analysis and supports the Product Owner in developing new acquisition capabilities (e.g., requirement gathering, collateral routing)
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams on strategy coordination, opportunity sizing, partner approvals, and sharing campaign results
• Analyzes program results to improve performance and profitability
• Manages the project tracker, including establishing milestones, monitoring progress, and escalating delays
• Documents processes related to product support (develops and maintains desktop procedures/manuals)
• Builds and maintains positive business relationships, and consistently delivers quality client interaction
• Leverages tools like AI to improve efficiency, productivity, and performance
• Appropriately assesses risk in all business decisions, upholding the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policy, exercising sound ethical judgment, and escalating/managing/reporting control issues with transparency
